For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Col 1:16 , Rev 4:11 Hmm… created by him, and for him?
Even baby Christian knows that who God is.. The Lord is good, Love, light, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts, our God is a consuming fire, God is a Spirit, God is not a man etc… did you get it? The death of the wicked is nothing something God cherishes in His heart. Sin is not something that God endorses, yet He created all the circumstances for its use. God “created evil” (Isa. 45:7) God does not create things that do #not serve a good purpose. By the way we have to understand, the word translated into “evil” in Isa. 45:7 is the #Hebrew word #ra, and it is the very same word translated hundreds and hundreds times as “evil” #throughout the Old Testament. Satan does play a role in the salvation of the human race. Satan is just one more “evil” that God uses in bringing many sons into glory. Some zealous Christian have tried to show that Isa. 45:7 is speaking of “calamity” and not “evil.” Of the #nineteen times that the word “calamity” appears in the #Scriptures, it is #never #translated from the #Hebrew Word #ra, but usually is translated from the #Hebrew word, #ade.
What do you mean God never killed anyone? OK we need J.O.V. [Jesus opinionative versions], “Thou shalt not kill” The Hebrew word for “kill” used in the divine commandment really means is murder or to kill unlawfully and with wicked intent. The Lord Jesus Christ was the lawgiver so he Define it and quoted it in this way in Matt 19:18: “You shall not murder.” God never murders unlawfully. His own word on (Rev 22:15 says that murderers will be cast into the lake of fire!)
However, the Bible includes many instances in which it was necessary for God to justly end a life of many nations. When the children of Israel entered the Promised Land they destroyed the Canaanites as ordered by the Lord. The Bible tells what happened when the Israelites conquered Jericho: you can see it by yourself Israel destroy many nations’ pagan peoples by the ordered of the Lord. At times, He also ordered His people killing other people, especially to defend themselves from enemies that were bent on destroying them. That is not murder it is done by lawfully. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep and donkey, with the edge of the sword (Joshua 6:21). God punish the entire population of Egypt by killing even firstborn, Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed with brimstone and fire from the Lord, God overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea. God is not only full of mercy, He is also perfectly just, yeah our God is a consuming fire. We can trust Him to deal rightly with every person.
Of course, we find a lot of other killing in the Old Testament. “Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be #evil in a city, and the #Lord hath not #done #it?” This does not mean that God endorsed every instance. God does not create things that do #not serve a good purpose. You need to see the sovereignty of God in all things. without doubt the sovereignty of God is taught everywhere in the holy Scripture. Majority Christians understand this in theory but in practice life they tend to confuse it with non-biblical fatalism. b/c of Babylon the great by her teaching for all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her. God’s sovereignty is based upon Genesis 1:1, and it is based upon God’s rights as the Creator, by he’s right as a crater God owns all that He created and is therefore ultimately responsible for it. for He indeed hast created all things, and for his #pleasure they are and were created.
