The book of the revelation of Jesus Christ is spiritual book it is the revelation of Christ within[ Christ in you the glory of God, Col 1:27], It is Spiritual NOT literal book it is “signified” Rev 1:1 [signified : the meaning or idea expressed by a sign, as distinct from the physical form in which it is expressed] with SYMBOLS. And the words of Jesus Christ are “SPIRIT” (I John 6:63). We have to understand the Spirit of the Word, The Lord Jesus Christ says “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.” Paul confirms that “The letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life.” The book of Revelation is filled with signs and metaphors. None of these things are literal but Spiritual. The 144,000 are not literally 144,000. The 1000 years is not literally a thousand years, The mark of the beast. . The 24 elders are not literally 24, Armageddon is not literal. The false prophet is not literal. Babylon the great she is not literal. Falling stars is not literal, stinging locusts and giant hailstones not literal. The seven last plagues are not literal. The bottomless pit is not literal. The lake of fire. The Four Horsemen, all images of terror even the Seven Churches are not literally seven. These are ALL symbols. The Lake of Fire is neither a literal lake or literal fire. The Lord Jesus Christ came IN THE #FLESH to lead us #INTO THE #SPIRIT to the Christ within.
