It is not found in early old manuscripts. It is an erroneous addition, as the Apostles never followed this spurious instruction. As to whether one should be baptized in water at all, rather than into the death of Jesus Christ, What a shock to learn that the great mother church we all grew up believing in, is nothing but a giant spiritual whore every teaching that she teach is against in opposition to the Christ within.
